Rick and Linda are amazing people, easy to work with, and very kind and generous!!! We would certainly recommend staying there!!

We are a large group, so we rented both cabins. They were perfect for us, with great areas to gather both inside and out. The cabins were beautiful and supplied with everything we needed. We passed the time golfing, walking around the lake, visiting the Omaha Zoo, attending a rodeo in Wahoo and sitting on the covered porch talking and laughing. We choose a new locale every year, and Spencer Hill Cabins was as good as they come. I can highly recommend it.

The home is roomy, has a perfect set up & is walking distance from fishing, playground & a walking path with the availability of kayaking & canoeing! Linda is a wonderful hostess. This was our family’s fourth visit & it won’t be our last!

We were met right away by the sound of birds, bunnies amongst a variety of flowers and a distant view of Lake Wanahoo. What a peaceful spot! When we entered the cabin, we were welcomed by the scent of fresh wood and spacious but cozy surroundings. Our children and grandchildren alike were wowed by the expansive windows that allowed us to take in the natural beauty all around us. The long table and additional kiddie table gave us plenty of seating for our family of 17. We loved the easy access to the large deck, outdoor speaker system and patio lights, with tables and seating for all. We spent a good amount of our 4 days and evenings out there reminiscing, laughing, and eating good food. The covered deck was also the perfect location to watch the Wahoo 4th of July fireworks display over the lake! The cabin is impeccably clean and organized and so much thought has been given to details throughout. The bedding was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels, extra blankets, and additional supplies. The kitchen was fully equipped with quality items in excellent condition. We all enjoyed the expansive yard for outdoor fun and safe play for our littlest ones. They were also delighted to find the tucked away play area under the stairs. Linda is a wonderful hostess and timely communicator. We would highly recommend Rick and Linda's Sto-Nee Ridge rental. The pictures you see accurately represent their home. It was the perfect location for our family's first vacation all together, a home away from home, and a place where our family made many memories!

Our family enjoys spending time at Spencer Hill Cabins. From the time we stepped in the door till the day we left, we felt well taken care of. I am always impressed with the attention to detail to make us feel at home including kitchen materials, yard games, toiletries, you name it. Stayed for two nights for the 50th wedding anniversary of my in-laws, Carla and Arnie. We enjoyed it so much! It was a relaxing weekend, although it was cold and snowed a little bit but we did have a good time! The cabin is big. It's very clean and well-maintained. The appliances are new and working well.
